Obtain Test-$IMX from the faucet

You will need Test-$IMX to deploy contracts and send transactions on zkEVM testnet. This guide will show you how to get some!

What is Test-IMX used for?

Developers building on Immutable may require it to:

  • Conduct thorough testing and experimentation without using real funds or affecting the main network.
  • Validate the functionality and performance of their applications before deploying them on the live network.
  • Interact with the platform's smart contracts and APIs in a controlled environment.
  • Collaborate with other developers by simulating real world scenarios and sharing testnet tokens for integration testing.
  • Familiarize themselves with the platform's features and capabilities while minimizing potential risks.

Test-IMX is available from the Faucet in the Immutable Hub.

  6. Please wait; it might take up to 1 minute for the Test-IMX to arrive in your wallet.
The faucet is rate limited

Each developer account on the DevHub is only able to get 10 Test-IMX once every 24 hours.

Please note, the Test-IMX token has no real-world value and is not intended to be used outside of the testnet version of Immutable zkEVM.
